The Chartreuse VEP duo brings together the two long-aged versions of the Carthusian Fathers' liqueur: VEP Green and VEP Yellow. VEP stands for “Vieillissement Exceptionnellement Prolongé” (exceptionally prolonged ageing): a long maturation in oak casks that brings finesse and complexity.

What's in the duo

  • Chartreuse VEP Green (100 cl, 54% vol.): aromatic herbs, mint, spices, powerful and very fine.
  • Chartreuse VEP Yellow (100 cl, 42% vol.): softer and honeyed, floral and spicy.

How to enjoy them

Neat, as a digestif, at room temperature or slightly chilled, in a small liqueur glass. Tasting the green and the yellow side by side is the best way to discover Chartreuse.

Red wines: 15 to 17 °C

Champagnes: 8 to 10 °C, and 10 to 12 °C for great vintages
