Drappier Brut Nature Rosé Les Riceys is a 100% Pinot Noir saignée rosé champagne from Les Riceys, the great wine village in the south of the Côte des Bar, made with zero dosage.
Les Riceys, a few kilometres from Urville, is renowned for its Pinot Noir and for its still rosé appellation. Drappier sources ripe, deeply coloured Pinot Noir there, which it makes by saignée, with a specific maceration that gives a deep colour and concentrated aromas. According to the information available, part of the wines is aged in oak barrels and the blend includes a perpetual reserve, before long ageing on laths. A gastronomic, intense rosé with zero dosage.

Serving and storage
Serve it at around 8 °C, in a large white wine glass so its vinosity can show. It can be kept for a few years. Store the bottle lying down, in a cool place away from light.

Where is Les Riceys?
Les Riceys is a village in the Aube, in the south of the Côte des Bar, on the border with Burgundy. It is the only village in France with three appellations: Champagne, Coteaux champenois and Rosé des Riceys, and it is renowned for its Pinot Noir.
Why is Drappier a house apart?
Based in Urville since 1808, the Drappier family champions a terroir champagne, low in dosage and sulphur, made mainly from Côte des Bar Pinot Noir. It also preserves forgotten Champagne grape varieties and presents itself as the first carbon-neutral Champagne house.
