Our bottles and services
How are your bottles stored?
All our bottles are stored in France, in climate-controlled warehouses where temperature and humidity are monitored. They are kept in ideal conditions until the day they ship. Learn more about our commitment.
Do you offer corporate gifts?
Yes. We help companies with gifts for clients, partners or employees: advice based on your budget, volume orders and delivery in France or abroad. Write to us at contact@lecaveaudespepites.com with the number of gifts, your budget and the date you need them. You can also give our gift card.
How do I choose between wine, champagne, spirits or liqueur?
It all depends on the occasion and what you enjoy:
- Red wine and white wine: to go with a good meal.
- Champagne: for aperitifs and celebrations.
- Spirits (whisky, tequila, gin…): for lovers of bold character.
- Liqueurs and Chartreuse: as a digestif, to sip slowly.
Are your products only French?
No. We focus on French gems (Champagne, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhône), but we also select exceptional bottles from elsewhere, such as Scotch and Japanese whiskies or Mexican tequilas.
What is the difference between a liqueur and Chartreuse?
Chartreuse is a herbal liqueur made by the Carthusian monks to a secret recipe. So it is a liqueur, but not every liqueur is a Chartreuse.
How do you choose your bottles?
Quality comes first. We select renowned houses and respected estates, as well as more confidential cuvées, for their quality, their reputation and their appeal to enthusiasts.
Should I drink your bottles now or keep them?
Many wines are enjoyed young, but great growths often benefit from a few years of ageing. Most champagnes are ready to drink, and great vintages can also be kept. Spirits are aged before bottling and can be enjoyed right away. Store your bottles somewhere cool and dark and, for wines, lying down.
Are your spirits best neat or in cocktails?
Both! Great whiskies, tequilas or Chartreuse are best enjoyed neat. Gin, some liqueurs and champagne work very well in cocktails.
Do you offer rare or limited edition products?
Yes! Discover our limited editions and rare bottles. Some gems do not stay in the cellar for long: subscribe to our newsletter so you never miss out.
At what temperature should I serve your bottles?
- Red wines: 15 to 18 °C
- White wines: 10 to 12 °C
- Champagnes: 8 to 10 °C
- Spirits: room temperature
- Liqueurs and Chartreuse: slightly chilled or over ice
Do I need to be of legal age to order?
Yes. The sale of alcohol to minors is prohibited. By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age to buy alcohol in your country.
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health. Please drink responsibly.
