Is Glenfiddich a peated whisky?
No, Glenfiddich is not peated. Its style, typical of Speyside, is fruity and fresh, with notes of pear, apple and oak. The name means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic, hence the stag on its bottles.
How should I taste a Glenfiddich single malt?
Serve it at room temperature, in a tulip glass, neat first and then with a dash of water if you wish. Store the bottle upright, away from light.
